The vermin removal on the GSM3 line in the Leicester area has been successfully completed. Movement detected within the trough route necessitated raising a remit to eradicate the vermin from the embankment. This was followed by grouting the burrows and installing netting to prevent further damage to the operational railway. All activities were carried out by RAS in accordance with Network Rail Standard Detail.
